What are the Genesis Keys?

Genesis Keys grant access to our Seasonal Leaderboard. You earn Passive XP daily, as well as through the conversion of your volume generated through the Terminal and through Direct Minting. The sum of the XP generated by Genesis Keys is aggregated under the wallet holding the Keys. You can spend your combined XP in the Mintify XPStore to redeem rewards.

How are Genesis Keys connected with your $ME token?

Mintify's Ecosystem Token, $ME, will incorporate Leaderboard metrics as part of the process.

Is there a benefit to holding multiple Genesis Keys?

Yes, all Passive XP is stacked across all Genesis Keys held. E.g., (10 Passive XP daily) * (10 Genesis Keys) = 100 Passive XP daily (10 each)

All Trading and Minting XP is mirrored across all Genesis Keys held. E.g., (1,000 XP earned through Trading) * (10 Genesis Keys) = 10,000 Trading XP (1,000 each)

What are XPeriments?

XPeriments will launch alongside SZNs, and each SZN will have an XPeriment number indicating its deviation from the status quo. XPeriments aim to push the boundaries of NFT Trading to create unique xperiences for today's Traders while tuning the Meta for the Traders of tomorrow. Genesis Key holders will have exclusive and early access to all XPeriments.

How does XP Work?

Mintify's Leaderboard reward system tracks all users' engagement throughout the platform in the form of XP. Both Genesis Key holders and non-holders may participate in earning XP. Non-holders only accumulate All-Time XP (¼ the rate of Genesis Key holders), while Genesis Key holders accumulate both Season and All-Time XP.

Note: XP is currently only awarded for ETH volume processed through Direct Purchases. E.g., Users do not accumulate XP for bidding, listings, or accepting bids in SZN2. Keep an eye out for XPeriment-03.

What’s the difference between Season XP and All-Time XP?

Season XP is accumulated up to a limit of 1,000 XP per day per Key. Season XP can be exchanged in the XPStore for rewards. Season XP Limits reset daily at 12 am UTC.

E.g., Passive XP + Trading XP + Minting XP = 1000 Daily XP (Limited)

All-Time XP is the sum of your Passive, Trading, and Minting XP and is directly related to our future $ME Ecosystem Token. All-Time XP carries across SZNs and reflects your total participation throughout all Leaderboard SZNs.

E.g., Passive XP + Trading XP + Minting XP = All-Time XP (no Limit)

Passive XP: Every day, you accumulate 10 Passive XP for every Genesis Key, just for holding.

1 Key * 1 Day = 10 XP 1 Key * 10 Days = 100 XP 10 Keys * 1 Day = 100 XP 10 Keys * 10 Days = 1000 XP

Trading XP: Every day, you can earn Trading XP to max out the 1,000 daily Season XP Limit. Trading XP is mirrored across all Keys held. E.g.1,000 XP earned with 10 Keys = 1,000 XP on each Key (10k XP total).

Non holders: 0.01 ETH → 0.25 XP Genesis Key holders: 0.01 ETH → 1 XP per Key

Overflow XP: Any Season XP + Overflow XP (XP accumulated beyond the 1,000 daily Season XP limit) is inclusively attributed to your All-Time XP.

1 Key * 11 ETH = 1,100 XP Season XP: 1,000 XP All-Time XP: 1,100 XP Overflow XP (not attributed to Season XP): 100 XP

Direct Minting XP: Every day, you can earn Minting XP to max out the 1,000 daily Season XP Limit. Minting XP is mirrored across all Keys held. E.g., 1,000 XP earned with 10 Keys = 1,000 XP on each Key (10k XP total).

Genesis Keys earn 1 XP on every Key per free token minted. 1 Key * 100 free mints = 100 XP

Genesis Keys earn 5 XP on every Key per paid token minted. Genesis Key holders: 1 Key * 100 paid mints = 500 XP

Non-holders earn 0.25 XP for every free/paid token minted (¼ the rate of Genesis Key holders). 0.25 XP * 100 free mints = 25 All-Time XP 0.25 XP * 100 paid mints = 25 All-Time XP

Wallet-Bound XP vs. NFT-Bound XP

Nonholder XP accumulation is Wallet-Bound. Wallet-Bound XP is only All-Time XP, bound to the individual user's wallet, and is untradeable.

Genesis Key holder XP accumulation is NFT-Bound. NFT-Bound XP is both Seasonal and All-Time XP, bound to the user's individual Genesis Keys and is transferred with the Key when a Key leaves a wallet.
